Carefree travel in spite of COVID-19

Coronavirus has the world in its grip. Obviously, I cannot take away your unease but I'm more than willing to give advice on how you can go on holiday in the current context. As the owner of Lodge Holidays, I find it important that you enjoy a carefree, fun holiday with the people you care about the most. The health and safety of my clients is paramount in everything I do.

Safe holidays

There is no need to worry when booking a trip with Lodge Holidays: enjoying a holiday in a place where you have complete freedom, away from the crowd, is more important than ever. You can easily keep your distance thanks to the very spacious pitches on our small-scale campsites. I hand-pick these campsites so you can fully enjoy the peace and quiet, the open space and nature.

Guarantees in these extraordinary times

If you decide to book a holiday with Lodge Holidays, I offer a number of supplementary guarantees on top of the current terms and conditions for booking:

Cancel your trip free of charge until 1 March 2021

The situation in Europe is changing on a daily basis. While I closely monitor the most recent developments and measures, what matters to me is that our guests enjoy a stress-free holiday. If you are concerned about your trip, you can cancel your holiday until 1 March 2021. No questions asked.

Pay a deposit of only 30% of the total value of your holiday

Perhaps you have become more cautious about large expenses this year. At Lodge Holidays, the risk is limited because we only ask a 30% deposit of the total value of your trip when you book with us. I will reserve your favourite vacation spot for you in exchange for this. You will only be required to pay the balance 6 weeks before your departure date. If a negative travel warning is issued for your destination (code orange/code red), you can wait to pay the balance until 2 weeks before your departure.

Flexible rebooking in case of negative travel advice (code orange or red)

In these uncertain times, you need to feel comfortable about your vacation. That is why I offer you the option of rebooking your holiday to another date or a destination of your choice if your trip is impacted by a negative travel advice.

You can rebook your holiday free of charge up to 48 hours before your arrival. The duration of your stay must be the same or longer than your original trip and you can only make a choice from the holidays that are listed on our website at that time.

Is your rebooked holiday cheaper than your original booking? Unfortunately, Lodge Holidays cannot refund any difference in price. Is your rebooked holiday more expensive? In that case, you will be charged the additional cost. In both cases, we charge an administrative fee for rebooking your trip. The fee for this is €36.50.

Cancelling your trip

You will not receive a refund of any payments made. Your deposit/payment will remain valid for the entire season (2021) and the next (2022). You will not be required to pay the balance if you decide not to book an alternative trip. Do you want to cancel your trip? Then do this at least 14 days before your departure date. You can also decide to rebook your trip to another destination or date in 2021 of 2022.
