Glamping in Veneto — personally selected by Rink-Jan
Glamping Veneto
Veneto stretches from the peaks of the Dolomites to the Venice lagoon, and in between lies a landscape of mountain lakes, wine-covered hills and old towns. Our two campsites are in the north, where the mountains begin: peaceful, green and with water within walking distance. From here you're in Venice within an hour, yet you sleep among the forests.
Camping Gajole lies on Lago di Corlo near Arsiè, with its own little beach five hundred metres away and the Dolomites on the horizon. Camping Al Lago di Lago lies right on a small mountain lake in the hills of Tarzo, on the edge of the Prosecco region, with the beach within fifty metres. At both campsites you can swim, paddleboard and canoe, and the lodges are spaced generously among the greenery.

DISCOVER THE REGION
Veneto — more than just glamping
Discover what makes the Veneto region so special — from breathtaking nature to rich culture and endless activities.
LOCATION & CLIMATE Veneto runs from the Dolomites in the north to the Adriatic coast in the south. The campsite is on Lago di Corlo, at the edge of the mountains, where the alpine climate gives way to the milder climate of the plain. In July and August it is around 28 to 29 degrees, in May and September around 22 to 24. Thanks to the altitude and the nearby water, it cools down pleasantly in the evening.
NATURE Lago di Corlo is a clear mountain lake with forests right down to the shore and the peaks of the Dolomites on the horizon. The Dolomiti Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is within driving distance, with trails of every difficulty level. There are walking and cycling routes around the lake, and in summer the water is cool enough for a lovely swim.
ACTIVITIES On the lake you can canoe, paddleboard and raft; from the campsite you can walk to the little beach. In the mountains you can hike and cycle in the Dolomiti Park. Venice is easy to reach by train without the hassle of a car, and closer by are Bassano del Grappa with its covered wooden bridge and the village of Arsiè. The Prosecco wine region begins a little further on, with cellars where you can taste the wines.
CULTURE Venice, with its canals and palaces, is the best-known neighbour, but Veneto has more to offer: Bassano del Grappa on the Brenta, the mountain towns of Belluno and Treviso, and Trento on the other side of the mountains. The Prosecco hills between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene are on the World Heritage List. In the villages around the lake you'll still find ordinary village cafés and weekly markets.
